The agency was founded in 1956 by André Degouey, as a General Agency Tourism - Holiday Accommodation - Property in the Illaz apartment building, next to the former Garage de l'Iseran.
In 1963 the agency moved to the centre of Val d'Isère, in the Chalet Pichonnier, with, at that time, a second business: Travel Agency
In 1987, Alain Degouey, son of the founder, had Chalet Pichonnier demolished and in its place built the Le Crocus apartment building, with the modernised agency offices on the ground floor.
2015 : New visual identity for Val d’Isère Agence, new logo and a new website. - 2016 : Change of the signboards, more trendy ones, and even more iconic : the snowflakes and the eagle are fusioning as one. 
In 2017, Jérôme Degouey, grandson of the founder, has complete a full renovation of the 500 sq offices. Now Val d’Isère Agence is offering a contemporary open space, equipped by the last technologies.
